I will give one person $250,000 that they will be able to use for whatever they would want. Rather than giving her the money all at once, I will setup a bank account for her. This account will be in my name, but if she was to need something, then I will send the money she needs to her, and if it is a significant purchase, I will write a check from the account. This will mean that she may have to justify herself to me. This is for her benefit. If she was to spend $200,000 on a house, she will not be able to afford the insurance, and property taxes. She will lose her house in a few years, and will endanger her ability to have a a place to live. I will not let her endanger her welfare in such an instance.
Since she is the only person that really keeps in touch with me on a regular basis, and looks out for me, I figure return the favor. If she was to want a new car, then she will get it. She has a credit card, maybe I will work with her in paying off her card every 2 weeks. If this is accepted, then she will be able to use her card more often, and who knows – maybe her credit will increase. And by paying every 2 weeks, there will be assurance that there will be no interest charges since most cards have a 25 day grace period.
