I used to think that I would need $10,000,000 to live comfortably, but recalculated my options, I will find that I would be able to live comfortably with just $5,000,000. With that said, I created this website, and adjusted the $10,000,000 site. This is because if I put half of my windfall to the investment account, and assuming that my investments do not go belly up, I will be able to keep living off of the income that would be generated by the investment. The rentals will help me in assuring that I will always have income even if there was a lean investment income because of worldly conditions. I know there will be no way I could live off of anything less. I already tried it, and it is not possible. Therefore, if I was to play the lottery, I will always assume that if I take the cash option, and taxes, I will get 20% of my winnings. This will mean I will need to win a minimum of $25,000,000 in order to get the $5,000,000. Keep in mind, this amount will be considered as net.
